Happy 2013 to all the Zaggora ladies around the world! It’s January again, which means that it’s high time we kicked off our New Year’s resolution to try some new workouts. So if, like many of us at Zaggora HQ, you want to lose the holiday bulge, tone up or switch up your routine, then you’re reading the right blog!
To start the New Year with a bang, we have teamed up with Fitness Expert and Editor Lucy Miller to offer you a series of exercises which can be done in the comfort of your home, outdoors or even in your hotel room, if you travel a lot and don’t have time to go to the gym. Drawing on her rich experience as a qualified level 3 Personal Fitness Trainer, as well as fitness writing and editing for titles such as Health & Fitness, Mail Online and Glamour, Lucy has created a simple and effective complete workout circuit to target your arms, waist, tummy, chest and back.
Lucy’s Upper Body workout is designed to be completed in just 15 minutes, making it easy to fit some exercise into your day even when you’re pressed for time. To get the most out of the routine, try and follow the workout at least five times a week while wearing your Zaggora activewear to really ramp up your calorie burn.
We’ll be releasing two new exercises every Monday for the next three weeks here on ZaggoraGirl – so stay tuned to see the rest of the routine. Quality overrides quantity, so it’s highly important that you get the moves right in the first place – practice makes perfect! After all the moves in the series have been released, you will have a complete 15-minute circuit to practice, and we’d love to hear how you find the routine.
And to really help you kick off your New Year fitness routine, we are also giving you to opportunity to ask Lucy all your burning questions about exercise and healthy living by commenting on this post, posting on Twitter by using the hash tag #AskLucy and mentioning @zaggora, or posting on the Zaggora Facebook page. She will respond weekly in a special post on this blog, so keep checking back to see if one of your questions has been chosen.
>> How to Prepare for Your First Upper Body Workout This Monday
1. Get Your Zaggora Ready
The Body Blazer, the HoTTop and the HotPants are all made of Celu-Lite fabric technology which has been shown to increase energy expenditure by 11% when worn during at least 30 minutes of activity. The pieces of the upper body range are designed to be worn individually, or layered together. They are cut to highlight the curves you love and flatter the ones you don’t. For more details about how the Activewear works, please visit the Zaggora website.
2. Warm Up Your Body Before Your Workout
Fitness Editor Lucy Miller recommends a few warm-up moves to get your heart pumping and get your muscles ready for exercise. Alternate 30 seconds of jogging on the spot with 30 seconds of these jumping jacks and leg lifts.
3. Remember to submit your questions to the Fitness Editor on Twitter using the hash tag #AskLucy and on our Facebook page.
Happy working out!

A workout on thighs and bingo wings please, I have such big thighs and I am short too!
I am really hoping that you will put that awesome blazer in a groupon deal., I would love to get one, but I can not afford the full price. That is how I got the capris. I love them & would love to have the blazer also.
I agree with Donna! My capris have helped me lose 24lbs over the past year – and still losing! Just need a blazer to complete my ensemble.
